Cyclamen

Our cyclamen crop availability continues, with many colors and large blooms. Cyclamen, the holiday crop of Europe, has a sturdy base of interesting foliage crowned by a mass of blooms arising above the foliage like butterflies. The color selection is excellent, ranging from intense red, purple, and hot pink, to soft pink, lavender, white, and variegated varieties. The optimal condition for cyclamen is cool to moderate room temperature and bright light. As blooms fade, they should be pulled straight up out of the plant, and will be followed by new blooms tightly held in the mass of foliage. Arising from corms, cyclamen may be maintained as a houseplant, and may have further cycles of blooms annually given the right conditions. Our cyclamen are available in both 6 1/2" and 4 1/2" pots. While the blooms of the 6 1/2" plants are larger, the 4 1/2" pots have smaller blooms which have a very attractive, sweet fragrance. Our cyclamen are available seasonally, from about mid-October to March.
