Dwarf Alberta Spruce

Dwarf alberta spruce, also named Picea glauca 'Conica' are ideal plants for using outdoors in containers year-round. In fact, they are one of the few plants which will perform well outdoors in a northern climate. They are attractive on their own, or may be embellished with seasonal flowers or greenery around the perimeter of the container in which they are planted.
These plants have a dense needle formation which will hold decorations well. Very hardy to cold temperatures, these spruce are very easy to maintain. Nonetheless, they should not go into winter in a dry condition, and will need to be replenished with water occasionally. They may be planted outdoors as well, where they can be expected to reach up to 8'-12' tall.
